Lights On! Winterlight Weekend Winterlight Weekend with Carriage Rides!. Rain or shine! Throughout December and January Grounds For Sculpture will extend park hours on Fridays and Saturdays to 9pm so you can experience the wonderland of lights. Kick off the holiday season at Grounds For Sculpture! Join us for two days of merriment just after Thanksgiving. At sundown watch the park come ablaze with light. Stroll as its paths, trees and buildings dazzle with thousands of fairy lights and holiday magic. On this day, take the family on a horse-drawn wagon ride to delight in the sparkling splendor! Decorate holiday cookies or participate in a Graham Cracker House Workshop (Material Fees required). Be there for the award ceremonies in our 7th Annual Gingerbread House Contest and warm up with songs of the holiday in the late afternoon. The Holidays are an exciting time of year at the farm. The Market is transformed into a Christmas wonderland with Gifts, Cookies, Christmas trees, Wreaths and all kinds of fun activities for the family. Stop out on weekends in December to visit with Santa and his Reindeer. Yes it is true, Prancer will be on display in the Discovery Barnyard and Santa will be receiving Christmas wishes for one and all. Bring your own Camera for a great Photo op. Costs: Visit with Santa--No Charge - bring your camera Costs:Reindeer exhibit in the Discovery Barnyard---$3.25 per person (child or adult) under 12 months free We also offer Horse Drawn Hayrides through the Holiday Season. These run on weekends from 11 to 3. A team of Percheran Horses will take you on a ride around the farm. Bring a blanket it can get chilly. Cost, $4.00 per Person Then you can stop back to the market for a hot chocolate. While your there the kids can Decorate their own Gingerbread man and Christmas Tree Cookie. This activity is available everyday starting at 10am. Cost: $6.50 per child Nov. 28 until Dec. 20th Visit with Santa - Weekends 11 to 3, then he is back from 6 to 9. Thursday & Friday evening from 6 to 9 Visit with Reindeer - Daily 10 to 6, Evenings Thursday thru Sunday Gingerbread man and Cookie decorating - Daily 10 til closing Marshmallow roasting and Christmas lights in the Discovery Barnyard - Thursday through Sunday 4 to 9 Horse Drawn Hayrides - Saturdays and Sundays only from 11 to 3 In the morning of November 26, the Girl Scouts will decorate the Tree at The Gazebo, N. Union and Springfield Avenue in Cranford. In the afternoon there will be a Petting Zoo and Moonwalk for the children followed by the Tree Lighting at 6 pm and pictures with Santa for the children. This event is sponsored by the Cranford Chamber of Commerce.
